I painted this from a pic I took on our way back from South Texas -- no idea where beyond being south of Bastrop and north of the King Ranch. Big area I know, but this is reminiscent of many country road scenes. Stylistically, this is leaning into my abstracted landscape territory, influenced by California artists like Raimond Staprans, Diebenkorn and Sandy Ostrau (check her out!).
